Her works were exhibited in several countries across Europe, including representation of Luxembourg at Les Rencontres de la photographie in Arles (FR) supported by Lët’z Arles asbl and the fund stART-up STUDIO by Œuvre nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte.

Chusta—meaning “scarf” in Polish—refers to a traditional folk head covering that was passed down to Krystyna from her grandmother. More than just a garment, the scarf becomes the symbolic heart of the film, anchoring a deeply personal, intergenerational narrative. Through this inherited object, the story unfolds as a dialogue between generations about womanhood and motherhood. The scarf carries unspoken histories, cultural memory and the weight of familial expectations, serving as a tangible link between the past and the present. Between tradition and modernity, duty and autonomy, silence and expression, this intimate exchange creates space for a deeper mutual understanding and compassion.
